The Texas chainsaw massacre 1974

This will be a short review.

Just the other day i only saw half the movie. My brother skipped to the big chase where the girl is running away from leather face.

(From what i saw) For a movie this old, id say it looked pretty good. The actors could of been much better though!
****************************************************

This was the first time i have ever seen anything from the film, but before hand i read the plot on wikkipedia and looked it up on www.moviemistakes.com

I know its such a classic film, but i was really let down when watching. The girl (who i cant even remember what her name was, not even going to bother) all through the chase, wouldnt shut up. Yes, i get that if being in the situation you would be scared.

But, honestly? She was leading him to her. She could of just ran into some bushes and stayed till it was safe. But no, she just HAD to run into a creepy looking house. Screaming for help, never mind if they were also killers!

But instead of going out the back door, she ran upstairs, shaking the two old dead looking people. What were they going to do? Magically jump up and save the day? But then she ran down the stairs back to the front door where leather face has been trying to cut the door, but then he opens it by the nob anyway?
*******************************************************

Fast forward to the dinner scene. It could of been because the volume wasnt high enough, but i found it hard to understand what they were saying! Im not saying im an expert, but i felt they were trying to hard with the acting from the guy who wore a green shirt, i think?

That whole was just very creepy, if that was the feel they were going for, you did well!
**********************************************************

Okay, now she is running onto the road, being followed by her kidnappers. First, a big truck comes along, 'crashes' onto the side of the road, gets out of his car, (i cant remember it all) then himself and the women go into the truck. Why wouldnt they just START the car, oh wait, thats to easy!

im pretty sure the truck driver dies. if not, sorry.
Another car comes, and stops to let the women in the boot. Struggling, but makes it, just.

Leather face tries to catch up, but obviously doesnt.
In the end, he just stands in the middle of the road shacking his chainsaw in the air.
While the women watches, and laughs.
****************************************************************

Im not sure what was more annoying, her LAUGH or her SCREAM! Far out, if she died it wouldnt of been a total loss to the world, we'd be doing it a favor!

I know the movie didnt have a lot of money to make it, but they could of told the actors who'd be running to work out a bit, oh wait wouldnt be a very long movie then would it?

Going of what i saw i rate it,
3/5 ***

Updating.

nothing big.

This doesnt have anything to do with reviewing, just a little 'something.'

I havent been great to myself lately. In the way that id normally be in room watching a dvd.
It sounds stupid but thats honestly all i ever did. But hopefully, because of this blog, it will give me that motivation ive been needing to get back in the habit.

Starting with the next movie or episode i watch. Even though no one reads these post, i do it for myslef, to give me something to do and helps me with my career.

Yes its just a stupid blog that no one even notices, but its helping me and i need to experience and hopefully i can teach myself and surprise myself along the way.

So, good luck, be safe.

The Neighbors. (short&simple)

This my first post here, and first time ever reviewing something other than for school.
I first heard of this series a while ago, but never gave it attentions, until the other day. I spent the day watching all the episodes.

The show follows the Weaver family, Marty (father), Debbie (mother), and the three Weaver children Amber (oldest), Max (middle child) and Abby (youngest), moving to a town house in 'Hidden Hills'.

Debbie and the kids were very upset about the move, But Marty says its a good thing for his family. Once moved in to their new home, they encounter their new Neighbors who show some rather odd behavior.

The Bird-Kersee invite the Weavers over to the house for dinner. At dinner the Weavers are the only ones that are eaten, as the Bird-Kersee family are reading. They later find out that that is their way of eating, as they 'feed the mind.'

The youngest child of the Bird-Kersee is Dick Butkus, who shows his true self to Max and Abby. Later that night, after the young ones told their parents what had happened, who thought they were lying, the whole neighborhood shows up, claps over their heads (that is how they turn into their alien form) revile themselves.

Over the series both the Weavers and the Bird-Kersee learn about each others way of life, and really come to be great friends.

**************************************************************

While watching i couldn't help but feel that there was something about Amber's eyebrows that just didn't fit well with her. I know that isn't a huge thing just really bothered me!
Also with her acting it felt a little overwhelming to watch.

Besides, my little troubles with Amber, i thought the rest of the cast was really good, sometimes Dick Butkus was a bit overwhelming also, but not as much!

I really like the houses in the series, i don't know why I've just also been interested in houses!

I also loved how the writers come up with all these different things that the aliens do, eg, when crying, green goo comes out of their ears. The leader, Larry bird, whenever he feels upset the whole town feels it too. Alos, growing plants in their bathroom!

Over all, i really enjoyed watching the show, and hope that it has a second season, its disappointing about the rating it has gotten, but i hope it improves because it would be a shame to see such a great show get canceled. So much hard work has gone into the show, and im thankful for all the people who have helped made is possible.

I rate this series (so far) 4/5 ****

I know my writing needs improvement, but this is my first shot at this, and its something ive always wanted to try. It will get better once i keep at it. :)
